These terms apply to the website maximaplugins.com and to the products and services sold on it. The website and the Maxima Plugins brand are operated by MaximaTech LLC (“Maxima Plugins”, “we”, “us”). By buying or using our products, you agree to these terms. If you buy on behalf of a business, you agree to them on its behalf.
1. Ordering and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, based on your location, and shows the total before you pay. Paddle accepts card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and issues your receipt and invoice.
2. Licenses and subscriptions
- Each license is for one live store, plus its staging and development copies.
- A license includes access to downloads, updates and support for 12 months from the purchase date.
- Licenses renew automatically every 12 months at the price shown when you bought, unless you cancel. Paddle emails you before each renewal.
- You can cancel renewal at any time from the link in your receipt email or from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- If a license is not renewed, the plugin keeps working on your store, but you no longer receive updates or support.
3. Software license
Our plugins are released under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. The license fee pays for access to downloads, updates and support, not for the right to use the code, which the GPL grants. Our names, logos, documentation and website content are not covered by the GPL and may not be reused without permission.
4. Updates and support
Support is provided by email and through our contact form, Monday to Friday, and we aim to reply within one business day. Support covers installing, setting up and using our plugins, and fixing bugs in them. It does not cover custom development, changes to third-party themes or plugins, or general WordPress hosting issues.
We publish updates to fix bugs, keep compatibility with new versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, and add features. We may change or remove features when needed, and we will describe changes in the changelog.
5. Refunds
Purchases and renewals come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our refund policy for details. This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account. Licenses may not be resold, shared publicly, or used to give others access to downloads or support.
7. Warranty and liability
We test our plugins carefully, but software can contain errors and can interact with other software in unexpected ways. Our products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Please keep backups and test updates on a staging site before using them on your live store.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not apply retroactively to a license period you have already paid for.
