Description
Most stores need a few checkout rules: no cash on delivery for large orders, no express shipping for heavy items, a discount for bank transfers, no deliveries to PO boxes. Conditional Shipping & Payment Rules lets you write them as plain rules, and tells customers why a method isn’t offered, so fewer of them contact you or leave.

Common setups
- Cash on delivery limits: hide it for orders over an amount, for new customers or outside your area.
- Bank transfer discount: 2% off when customers pay by bank, shown the moment they choose it.
- Heavy and bulky orders: no Express above 20 kg, or pickup only for oversized items.
- Addresses you can’t ship to: stop PO boxes, islands or postcodes with a clear message.
Four kinds of rules
- Hide shipping methods: any method in any zone, or every method of a type, such as all Free shipping methods
- Hide payment methods: any payment gateway
- Add a fee or discount for a payment method: a fixed amount or a percentage, taxable or not
- Stop the order with a message, in the cart and at checkout
Conditions
- Cart: subtotal, weight, number of items, products, categories, shipping classes, backorders and coupons
- Address: country or state, postcodes with wildcards and ranges, words in the address, billing country
- Customer: logged in, guest or returning, and role
- Checkout: the chosen shipping method, and the day and time
Clear for customers and for you
- Each rule can show a note when it applies, such as “Cash on delivery is available for orders under $250.”
- Every rule shows a one-line summary, such as “Hide Cash on delivery when cart subtotal is at least $250.00”
- Start from ready-made examples, switch rules on and off, drag them into order and duplicate them
- A preview for shop managers shows which rules applied while you browse the store
