How purchases, downloads, updates, renewals and invoices work.
Downloading your plugins
Right after checkout, the download link is on the order confirmation page and in your receipt email. You can download any plugin again at any time from My account > Downloads while your license is active.
Installing updates
- Download the latest version from My account > Downloads. The file always contains the newest release.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin and upload the zip.
- WordPress asks whether to replace the installed version. Click Replace current with uploaded. Your settings and rules are kept.
We list every change in the changelog on each plugin’s documentation page. Test updates on a staging copy of your store if you can.
Renewals and cancelling
Licenses renew automatically every 12 months, at the price you bought at, so updates and support continue. Paddle emails you before each renewal. To cancel, use Manage billing next to your order in My account > Orders, or the link in your receipt email. The plugin keeps working after you cancel; only updates and support stop at the end of the paid period.
Invoices, receipts and tax
Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes payments, charges any sales tax or VAT, and emails your receipt. To download invoices or update your payment method, use Manage billing in your account. If you buy for a business in the EU or UK, you can add your VAT number at checkout.
Refunds
Every purchase and renewal has a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy, or contact us.
Your account
Your account is created at checkout with the email address you buy with. To change your email or password, go to My account > Account details. To delete your account, contact us.
